No-Show Policy
To ensure that tournaments proceed smoothly and that the club
is not held financially responsible for tee times that members
reserve but fail to show up for during club tournaments,
Rancho Vista Men's Club established the following policy:
- Members who sign up for a scheduled men's club tournament
and fail to notify the Tournament Chairman about their absence
in advance of the event will be charged the green fees for the
event and will be required to prepay for the next tournament.
Membership privileges will be suspended until such time as these terms are met.
- A member who has been a "no show" twice in one calendar year
will be required to pay in advance for all remaining tournaments that year.
- Violation of this rule a third time will result in the loss of
membership privileges for the remainder of the year without a refund.
It is important to note that a member can cancel up until the
evening before the scheduled event. Cancellations may be made by
emailing the tournament chairman at tournaments@rvmgc.com or by
calling the hotline at (661) 789-5888.
For instance, a member who calls to cancel on Friday for a
Saturday event is not considered a "no show." However, a member
who registers for an event, never notifies the tournament chairman,
and fails to show up will be in violation of this rule and subject to its provisions.
